First, simply put: How the E-minis differ from standard futures contracts
An E-Mini is a contract on a share index which is completed 100% electronically (hence the E). It is considered to be ‘Mini’ because the E-Mini market is 1/5 the size of the standard Standard & Poors (S&P) Index Market.
